Research can be tricky because either Kimberlin or his allies are intent on information not coming out. For example, despite the numerous newspaper, magazine articles and even a book written about him there’s no Wikipedia page for Brett Kimberlin. The entire page was pulled down for a very suspect reason.
One is the Indy Star articles like this one — that show original reporting of what happened in Indiana and elsewhere, starting in 1978.
Another source of amazing data is the Google Scholar page — not regular Goolgle, but Google Scholar and focus on Legal Documents. Search for Brett Kimberlin and you’ll find numerous (but not nearly all) legal cases and judgments he’s been involved in.

Wikipedia is run by a core of liberal political operatives who delete pages that don’t fit their agenda. They also censor negative items in the biographies of liberals and play up phony scandals in the bios of conservatives. All criticism of liberals is reported as coming from identified conservative partisans, whereas negative information about conservatives is simply stated as fact.
Compare the Wikipedia articles on the Tea Party and Occupy Wall Street for a good laugh. And read the Coffee Party (who??) entry as well — they try to pretend its
