Bill Schmalfeldt claims to be a journalist.
How will he explain the journalistic, legal, peaceful non-harassing purpose of an “article” like And Now, A New Feature WE Like To Call… ‘WAYS TO LEARN LEE STRANAHAN’S ADDRESS WITHOUT SPENDING A DIME!”?
Is this how a journalist writes?
1. Pretend you are going to sign up for one of his stupid blogging courses. His e-mail response contains his address.
2. Do a search on the Dallas Police Department Website. Chances are, Stranahan has called 911 for some reason in the past month or so.
And whether you like me or hate, please put yourself in the position of a neutral observer for a moment.
Click the link in this tweet that Mr. Schmalfeldt sent out last night and watch this video that Bill Schmalfeldt made about me. To repeat : he made a video. He had to research, find photos, select music, record narration and edit together something. It’s a series of deliberate and methodical actions he undertook.

Let’s remember the context that Bill Schmalfeldt originally made and posted that video : I was out of town covering the Republican and Democratic National Conventions for my employer, Breitbart News. My wife was home alone with our children.
This was a period when there were a number of threats directed at me, as shown in this Hollywood Reporter article.
The Twitter account @OccupyRebellion–an online friend of Bill Schmalfeldt–had tweeted:
When I pointed out this threat, Bill Schmalfeldt wrote a blog post attacking me, suggested that I should be raped, and (significantly in terms of the video) said @OccupyRebellion “doesn’t TELL anyone where your wife is” in her threatening tweet. Click here to reads the post and tell me if it reads like journalism to you.
So in the context of:
1) well known threats to me and my family written about in a national publication
2) a suggestion by Schmalfeldt’s associate @OccupyRebellion that rapists might like to know my wife was home alone
3) a blog post written by Bill Schmalfeldt saying my wife had nothing to worry about since @OccupyRebellion “doesn’t TELL anyone where your wife is.”
4) knowing I was out of town for work reasons
In THAT context, Bill Schmalfeldt planned, researched, edited and put on YouTube the following video.
Does that video seem like journalism to you? Or something else?
harassment (either harris-meant or huh-rass-meant) n. the act of systematic and/or continued unwanted and annoying actions of one party or a group, including threats and demands. The purposes may vary, including racial prejudice, personal malice, an attempt to force someone to quit a job or grant sexual favors, apply illegal pressure to collect a bill, or merely gain sadistic pleasure from making someone fearful or anxious. Such activities may be the basis for a lawsuit if due to discrimination based on race or sex, a violation on the statutory limitations on collection agencies, involve revenge by an ex-spouse, or be shown to be a form of blackmail (“I’ll stop bothering you, if you’ll go to bed with me”). The victim may file a petition for a “stay away” (restraining) order, intended to prevent contact by the offensive party
And we know that blackmail was part of his motivation because Bill Schmalfeldt has told us why he’s ‘investigating’ me and others.
If you morons would just forget #brettkimberlin even exists and go about your lives, you would be happier and no one would be investigating.
