School Days is a nearly perfect album – brilliant stuff. Here’s Stanley Clarke with drummer Simon Phillips (rare – I think Cobham played on the original) and guitarist Charles “Chuckles” Johnson. Everyone, including Chuckles absolutely kicks ass on this.   THIS is what Johnson should be remembered for, not his sad later life on Little Green Footballs.  Viva Jazzy!
