The new photos come from messages that were sent via AOL, AOL and Facebook integrated their instant massaging service recently http://www.informationweek.com/news/security/client/222900092,
When the photo appeared on Twitter Rep Weiner in a panic tweeted that his FB accouont was hacked, not his Twitter account.
My hypothesis is that Rep Weiner had a “consensual” sexting relationship with this new woman last month, I put consensual in quotes because I think it may have been a set up, the photos including the the photo that popped up in Twitter came from this same sexting session, and it was via Facebook/Aol.
This would explain why Rep Weiner claimed his FB account was hacked. He recognized the photo.
He did not post the photo on Twitter a hacker did. That sexting session would explain why he doesn’t want an investigation.
If this is how it played out it would also mean Rep Weiner wasn’t and isn’t lying, and Patriot et al are guilty of hacking.
This isn’t entirely an original hypothesis Cannonfire has a post up today implying the same idea.
