If you knew you had five years left, how would you spend it?
Seven years ago, Steve jobs was diagnosed with a cancer that usually kills within about five years. He used that time launching culture changing products like the iPad. (If it hasn’t changed your life yet, give it a couple of years.) And – typically – when the iPad was announced, it was ridiculed. Stupid name, they said and no connectivity. And blah blah blah.
This is the last public appearance of Steve Jobs, pitching a build that he knew he’d never see built. Doing business in a charming way with the Cupertino City Council. Watch the rich white guy who outsources manufacturing to China and whose company has huge cash reserves and did things in a dictatorial way – ask yourself if this guy was a villain or a hero. Ask yourself whether he should be vilified or emulated.
And remember – you may have less than five years left.

I don’t know, Lee.
Probably a combination of hero/villain, like most of us are….
