Real Person Attached to Nikki Account: (Whatever)

There’s a real person – a confirmed, real person attacked to the @Starchild111 account. They admitted it. It’s been confirmed by outside sources that this real person exists.

And no follow up.

When asked why the account they started changed names to Nikki Reid, they have answered that their account must have been hacked.

Hacked.

This response should be greeted with the same skepticism that was given to Rep. Weiner’s defense of being hacked. As with Rep Weiner, a lot of follow should be happening.

Instead,. ‘John Reid’ brings us bread and circuses. Imaginary bread and fake circuses, but whatever. It’s fun! And can all happen on a night or a weekend, when the Puppetmaster isn’t at work, apparently.  We have death threats. (Like the death threats that Patriot claimed. And the death threats that the woman who called me on the phone  Both claims came before the threats sent to Patterico and Ace.) We have a Q&A, complete with comments from the discredited idiot behind the Daily Kos craziness weeks ago.

Action! Thrills! Mystery! It’s the stuff of screenplays!

Oh, right. Almost forgot.

There’s a real person – a confirmed, real person attacked to the @Starchild111 account.

  1. Lee, for the life of me i can’t figure out why no one is beating down jenay’s door. Most blogging/reporting on this are reactive and not proactive and are playing right into the hands of the puppets. Strange, truly. Almost as if the drama is more important than the truth.

  3. I absolutely agree there should be some followup….but riskmirritatimf you by pinging out that while it is obvious the person you talked to is or is in league with the puppeteers, and it is clear that the person yourncaller claimed to be has a legal existence and a few known traits consistent with being the hoaxer ( interest in creation of story lines and characters) it is not altogether clear that you have actually been speaking to the “real life” Jenny instead of an imposter.

I am of the opinion that you, or a person you think capable of following up, should contact the professor through his university email …. And asked to verify some detail not widely available to the public…. A middle name, writers” seminar billing records, some exemplar or writings he might have seen in a seminar, or other context.

That’s not because I do not think you are necessarily on the wrong path. I am sure this person ( the one you actually spoke to) is involved no min the hoaxing.

There are malicious bands of hoaxers who would do this sort of thing, a nd your caller is a liar, who might lie about being JG. It would seem ridiculous to suggest that the professor himself is colluding with the hoax, and contacting him through the university would remove any skeptics claim that someone, somehow, managed to misdirect you to a “”fake professor),

For myself ther is little doubt you spoke to him, but I do worry that some one might have called you pretending to be this student. False in one thing, false in all…
