Emails from 2010 reveals the secrecy behind the National Right To Work Committee’s vast program of directly assisting candidates by coordinating, writing, printing and mailing campaign letters in election in at least eight states.
The emails, written by a now deceased NRTW employee named Jared Gamble, describes “the number one cardinal rule for RTW field staff” as “Never speak about program” as well as giving a list of NRTW lobbyists that Gamble says “never get quoted in the press (especially about our program.)”
“The program” is the secret, illegal mail program that the National Right to Work Committee ran for dozens of candidates in states like Iowa, Montana, Colorado, Ohio, Kentucky, Nevada, New Hampshire, and Indiana.
The lobbyists listed by Gamble include Mark Mix, the President of National Right to Work Committee, and former NRTW V.P. Doug Stafford, who is now the head of Rand Paul’s Rand PAC.
The email also mentions a number of other National Right to Work Committee employees who have extensive connections to Ron Paul, Rand Paul and the Paul’s Campaign For Liberty.
I’ll be detailing ‘the program’ extensively in posts later this week.
Here’s the complete Jerad Gamble emaisl discussing ‘the program’:
